Have you ever wondered if there is a magic fix for your aching joints? Have you ever wished that there was something you could do to relieve your joint pain for good? Well I have some good news for you. I want to talk to you today about a nutrient called Collagen Type Two and how incorporating this into my daily intake completely changed my life. But first a quick story.
Have you ever noticed how dogs sometimes eat the strangest things? Clearly our Pekinese Poodle Mix, Boo, is no exception. The other day after the rain, I let Boo outside early in the morning. He was so focused on something in our back patio that he refused to come inside. It was really early in the morning, about 5:00AM, so it was dark; I couldn’t quite tell what he was doing, but it seemed like he was eating something off of our patio. When I turned on the patio light, I realized he was eating these earthworms!
He was so intent on eating every single one he flat out refused to listen to me when I was calling for him to come back inside. I’m telling you what, I could not believe he was eating these things. I mean, he was just going from one to the other! It’s like he couldn’t get enough of these earth worms. It really surprised me but I finally got him to come back in the house. Later that day I went online and looked to see if there were other instances where dogs had been known to eat earthworms. I was really surprised when I found out that according to the American Kennel Club website it was normal and fairly common behavior for some dogs to do this.
I looked at some other websites too and they all kind of said they could be eating earthworms because the dog has a nutritional deficit. Ultimately the common consensus was, although this behavior does happen, no one really knows why some dogs eat earthworms. I got to say, it’s hard to tell what possessed Boo to eat them but I suppose he had his own motivation for this behavior. There must’ve been some kind of need he was trying to fulfill. Whatever his reason, it seemed pretty disgusting to me.
This got me thinking… All of us have a need for something in our lives and most of us have this need for peace, joy, and love. Many times, we try to fulfill this need with material things or hollow accomplishments. It seems the more we strive to find peace, joy, and love with material things, the more we find those things really don’t give us what we are looking for. My experiences have proven to me the only way to find true peace, joy, and love is to trust in a power greater than ourselves. It is only when you are willing to let go and give it to God that you find what you are truly looking for.

What Nutrients Are Missing in Your Diet?
If I told you there are some naturally occurring nutrients out there that could replace your pain pills or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, what would you say? What would your reaction be?
I bet your reaction is probably a lot like mine! The first thought in my head was, “Yeah, right. Why haven’t I heard of them before if they’re so amazing? Why isn’t this being advertised?”
The answer to that is actually quite complex, but let’s just say this: Society is not set up to bring the most important information to light right now. There are those who seek to suppress this kind of truth because they have a monetary gain in keeping you dependent on pain pills. The non-steroidal anti-inflammatories and never-ending treatments keep you coming back to them.
Another thought I had when I found out about these is “This is too good to be true. There’s no way these nutrients and compounds could work.”
The response I had is normal and expected; But the truth is, not only is there solid scientific evidence for these nutrients and compounds, I personally have experienced the power of these nutrients.
Another response I had was “not another fix-all pill. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I’m just going to have to live with this pain in my back and my knees.”
Look… This kind of thought is a flat out lie many of us just tell ourselves. You don’t have to give up. You never truly fail at anything until you stop trying. You fail when you stop trying because you believe that lie.
You have been fearfully and wonderfully made. Your body is an amazing machine with incredible recuperative and healing abilities. You just need the right fuel for your machine to do its job.
Back in the Day
I used to be a competitive power lifter. For those of you who don’t know what that sport is… It’s where you try and lift as much weight as you can in three lifts: A squat, bench press, and deadlift. There’s all kinds of competitions set up and I used to compete for over eight years in the Local, State, and National competitions. The years of heavy lifting took its toll on my body. Back in 1999, I suffered a career ending knee injury. I tore some cartilage off the end of my right femur, just in the knee. Surgery couldn’t repair the damage. I suffered for over 17 years with knee pain that kept progressively getting worse. I couldn’t run. I couldn’t jump. I couldn’t kneel. I was having trouble squatting deeply without pain.
I told myself this is how it’s going to be. I just have to live with it. At some point in time, I’m probably going to need a knee replacement so I just have to live with it. In 2016, I was introduced to this amazing joint supplement called Joint Nutra Care. I had tried these kinds of supplements before, and to be honest with you, the stuff I tried in the past didn’t work. A friend of mine convinced me not to give up, keep trying.
I started taking Joint Nutra Care and at first, I didn’t notice any difference. It took me over six weeks of taking this in order to see any change. But then something really cool happened! I went to a conference in Southern California. When you go to a physical therapy conference, you’re going to do physical therapy stuff. In fact, when we went to the conference, we had to sign a waiver ahead of time stating if we got hurt, we couldn’t sue the company. This was three-day conference and on about day two, I all of a sudden noticed my knee didn’t hurting. I completed all three days of this activity. I had been on Joint Nutra Care a while and really surprised. I couldn’t believe my knee didn’t hurt at the end of the three days. We did all kinds of punching, kicking, jumping, squatting, and yoga stuff. yet it didn’t bother me!

When I got home, I thought something’s going on here. Let me try this out. I’ll stop taking the supplement and see what happens. So, I stopped taking it. Within a couple weeks of stopping the supplement, my knee pain started coming back. That’s when I knew I was onto something. The Joint Nutra Care could be very, very helpful.
I went back on it and have been ever since. It’s gotten to the point now where my knee and back continue to improve. I got to the point where I was able to start jogging this last summer. After all those years of pain, I wasn’t able to run or jump. Now I’m able to run over two miles! I have been running over two miles, three times a week for the last year.
I know two miles doesn’t sound like much. But when you haven’t run for over 20 years like that, just the fact of being able to go out and run a mile, for me, was a big deal.

One of the key ingredients is what’s called collagen type two. This is sourced from chicken sternum cartilage and is a major component of our joint cartilage. In fact, there was a study from the Journal of Health Med. In this study they were trying to figure out how collagen type two works. What they’ve come to know is it helps stimulate the growth and development of cartilage cells in the body. It helps the cartilage stay healthy and the body grow new cartilage.
What they did is take people who had joint pain and problems that had been there for at least three months; Most of them had problems that lasted a lot longer. The subjects took collagen type two for 30 days.
Then they measured the subject’s range of motion, general pain levels, and muscle strength. Guess what? Within 30 days, 78% of those subjects reported significant improvements in their joint pain, motion, and strength levels.
Arthritis and degenerative joint disorders will cause muscle weakness, loss of motion, reduced balance, and position sense in addition to the pain. Arthritis and degenerative joint problems cause a swelling in the joint that shuts down the muscle activity in those joints. This is what call inhibition and results in the loss of muscle size known as atrophy. The outcome is the joint not only gets weaker but due to the chronic swelling, the joint gets stiffer with loss of motion and pain sets in.
Collagen type two improved all of these areas in 30 days. It did so by improving the health of the cartilage as well as providing building blocks needed to grow and heal the cartilage of the joint.
This study showed collagen type two to be effective and beneficial for those with degenerative joint diseases such as:
- Cartilage injuries
- Connective tissue disorders
- Rheumatoid arthritis.
