Specialized Yoga Class Accelerates Healing, Pain Relief, and Strength
Regardless of which type you choose, Yoga is an excellent way to stretch and strengthen your body, focus your mind, and relax your spirit. The movements and postures strengthen your body from the inside-out, so you don’t just look good, you feel good, too. Research shows that yoga helps manage and control anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue, depression, diabetes, epilepsy, headaches, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, stress, and many other conditions and diseases.
Welcome Flex Physical Therapy’s Newest Yoga Instructor, Kelli Taylor, RYT-200
Kelli’s yoga practice began in the gym as an effort to balance out her love for weight lifting. As she dug more into the emotional and psychological benefits, it quickly became much more than getting a good stretch in. Whether you’re looking for a workout packed full of mindful movement or just a little space to breathe, Kelli welcomes all levels of yogis. She will be teaching our Monday night classes at 6:15 pm and the noon classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
